Negotiating Your Deal

The Finance Office

Inside a dealership, the finance office is often referred to as “the box.” That’s because the box where customers are sent to sweat out the final stage of the deal — and where dealerships often make some of their biggest profits.

Carzooka will show you how payment-focused presentations can hide thousands of dollars in extra costs, and how products like extended warranties, rustproofing, and protection packages are sometimes marked up far beyond their true value.

Carzooka’s Guide to the Finance Office will help you navigate the trickiest part of your dealership experience feeling informed, confident, and prepared to spot the tactics that too many consumers only realize after they’ve signed the paperwork.

About Us

Carzooka.ca is the creation of a group of Canadian automotive retail professionals who are determined to transform the dealership experience for frustrated consumers. We believe that the current model of selling cars, dating back almost 70 years, is completely broken. Too often, dealers resort to confusing and misleading tactics that prioritize gross profit over lasting customer relationships, revealing a complete lack of respect for the consumer.

This must end.

The change begins by helping Canadian consumers, especially first-time car buyers, stay informed. The more you know, the easier it will be to catch any misinformation. But please don’t get us wrong. Are we saying that every car salesperson is a crook? - Absolutely not! Many are kind, hard-working, and knowledgeable professionals who truly want the best for their clients. But there is still too much that is wrong with the dealership model in 2026. Together, we will bring change.

Let’s create more confident car buyers!
